Jennifer Balint
Four year Varsity starter for Lindenhurst High School, Lindenhurst, NY where she was All-county her junior and senior year and All-state honorable mention her senior year. Leading her team to the county championship game where she pitched against future Hofstra Hall of Fame Coach Bill Edwards.
Jenn was a four year starting Pitcher at St John’s University (Big East Conference) 1989-1993 where she still holds single season record for ERA with a 0.37 her sophomore season.
Pitching Coach from 2008-current, she has been involved with softball lessons of numerous ages and skill levels most notably coaching her daughter, Maggie Balint, 3 time Gatorade Player of the Year in Pennsylvania, All-American, and recruited by the University of Oregon. Maggie played there for two seasons, named First team All-Pac12, First Team All-Region and top 3 finalist for Freshman of the Year Division 1. She recently transferred to San Diego State University where she is currently playing in her junior year.
On a personal note, Jenn resides in Southeast Pa with her husband and four kids. She has two sons playing football at Shippensburg University, her oldest son recently named 2019 Second Team All-American TightEnd D2. Her youngest son will start High School at Salesianum this fall. She is a nurse at Christiana Care Hospital and currently enrolled in the Masters Program at Wilmington University.
